I need to do it before installing system on new ssd.I will use (after ssd install) 240 GB Ssd for os,programs and maybe games and 1TB Hdd for photos etc..Im using tutorial from here(to install ssd). Thanks

Solution
nearly every single motherboard, especially a Z77 board, will support AHCI. Not sure where you heard that it doesn't but i'm 99.9% it does and it is usually set to default.

If you go into the motherboard BIOS you can find the AHCI/IDE Mode settings
