How do I install the drivers for my Sapphire R9 270x Dual-X 2GB card?

From what I've heard, most people who try to install drivers for the card (R9 270x) get blackscreened. Is there a proper way to do it?

Download the drivers from guru3d, techpowerup, or direct from AMD themselves just type in 270x drivers. Once the drivers downloaded extract the files (if necessary) and install the driver. Your screen will flash on and off during install but this is normal
