Hi, I am building my first gaming rig, and I've picked out this motherboard and CPU.
Items:
-ASRock Z97 Anniversary
-Intel G3258
Will the motherboard's bios be updated to support the G3258 right out the box? I've seen other solutions that say that if the motherboard is ordered after "blah-blah-blah" date it shouldn't need an update. I would like a definite answer as I would not like to break my motherboard.
Also, another question, would I have to download a specific BIOS update or can I just update the mobo with ASrock's latest version and it would work for this cpu/other cpus?
