Altec Lansing VS4221 -does anyone know what is the correct driver. I have Windows 7.

I have a Dell PC using Windows 7 and a while ago I updated the drivers for my Altec Lansing Speakers VS4221. Ever since the sound is extremely echo-y and tinny. Can anyone help get me the correct drivers?

I tried but couldn't. The only download I could find carried a virus- My Bitdefender stopped it from downloading. Does anyone know of a safe place to download it from? It seems Altec Lansing doesn't have it. I tried calling them but all one gets is a machine saying "they are busy and to try again later".
