Hi guys ...
I am here to ask you for some help ...
I am running win7 ultimate 64bit in my HP dv6 ...
I cant use aero display because the WIndows experience index has not been computed ...
when i start to update the windows experience my CPU goes to 100*C and then it shut down itself... The fan speed goes at maximum ... what could be the problem ? i am using 96% of my cpu performance , when i set it to 100% it goes to 80-90*C ...

Solution
It could be that the thermal paste that ensures good thermal contact between the CPU and the heatsink has dried up and is no longer effective. There are plenty of videos out there about how to apply thermal paste, and a few about how to open up your particular laptop to access the heatsink/CPU (warning, it's a pain).

Keep in mind that the higher end Turions just plain run hot. I helped my cousin upgrade his DV6 to a ZM-86 and he often reaches temps of 86C or higher during gaming. He has no stability issues however, just an annoyingly loud fan. Ensuring that your CPU no longer forces shutdown is about the best you can do, because that CPU will run hot regardless of how good your thermal paste is.
