Does less cpu usage while gaming mean cpu will last longer with playing games?

The longevity of a CPU as far I know comes from how hot its running at full load for long periods. Want your CPU to last longer you'll want to make sure it stays within the recommended thermal limits when at full load.

it would be a fx 8320 so i hope it will be able to play the newest game in 2-3 years time

the 8320 should be okay for I would say another 2 years give or take. Just beware you might have to overclock it a bit to get a bit more power out of it to be able to handle games at higher settings for longer. Just make sure to buy an aftermarket cooler for it like the hyper 212 evo

yeah after a while i might get a evo 212 and oc it to 4.5 hopefully
