I'm moving to a different room in my house and I don't want to use wi-fi because of the inconsistent connection. There is no Ethernet port, but there is a a cable socket. I'm wondering how I will be able to use Ethernet? If any has any suggestions my connection speeds are
60 Download/5 Upload the modem needs to support those speeds. My internet Service Provider is Charter.

if help not, sorry for that.
With cable (Coax), you are looking at a solution called MoCA. don't know if it can do IP and cableTV simultaneously, your legwork. Sounds like it will have the bandwidth required. If that fails, you can try wire-line ethernet (through the electricity sockets if you can believe that) I dunno know the bandwidth of that particular solution, again, your legwork.
