I've been looking into the gtx 970 superclocked edition since I could order it from evga's website for about $349.99 but wasn't sure if there was another card that would get better fps in graphic intensive games in my price range.
The only other card by nvidia still being made between $200 and $400 is the 960, and it's nothing compared to the 970. 970 is a great card, and going with the superclocked version from EVGA will not disappoint you.
Is there a difference between the superclocked edition 970's on evga's website there are 3 or 4 different superclocked editions from $339-369 they just look different.

The factory overclock is different on some of them. If you aren't overclocking yourself, it might make a difference. But if you are, just get the cheapest regular superclocked version with the ACX cooler.
I wouldn't do any overclocking myself because I wouldn't want to void a warranty or screw up the card not knowing what I'm doing. So I should go with the superclocked that says ACX 2.0+?

That will do just fine. But it's worth noting that overclocking does not void EVGA's warranty and moderate overclocking very very rarely damages gpu's, especially if you aren't messing with voltages.
