My External Hard Drive (1.5TB) has accidentally been quick formatted for not even a second. I was trying to format an SD card (since I'm a filmmaker) but instead ended up formatting my external hard drive for seriously no more then a second. Now it is a RAW hard drive and I can not access it. I don't want to go through some File Recovery programs when no files have been deleted. Just accidentally put it in a process of being formatted... anyway I can turn it back to normal? Thanks!

any file recovery programs you have in mind?... I have footage and photos from over the case of 4 years...

Hi there ChrisOtaku,

You can try using some partition recovery software. In case the data is not overwritten, you should be able to retrieve at least some of it. There are quite a lot of threads on data recovery of RAW drives.
