i recently bought a 128gb sd card from the wish website
while it was only £3 and i thought it to good to be true i went ahead and got it anyway
now when i put it into my pc it reads as there is 128gb of memory to be used but when i go to copy any more than 10 gb says its copied...i take it out safely put it in to my phone and...nothing only the first 10gb of music are there
my question is
is there anything i can do or have i just been ripped off?
sorry if this has been put up before i dont usually use sites like this

yeah i thought as much its just strange because when in my laptop it says it has the 128gb space
i tried formatting it and it went down to saying it has 124gb with 110gb free
now im a bit off a noob when it comes to stuff like this so be gentle lol
i take it this still means it could be a fake?

It's probably a small SD card, with some altered firmware that makes it read as 128GB.
In some locales, people can buy a box of 100(?) junk 10GB SD cards for $5. Reflash the firmware, and sell each as a "128GB SD Card" for 3 quid.

Meanwhile, a 128GB sd card from a reputable manufacturer is ~£50 at Amazon.

If it looks to good to be true, it probably is.

well thats what i thought to be honest
but after formatting it i just picked my music folder and stuck 50gb of music on the card and to my surprise it has actually worked so fingers crossed it stays that way as its even now working on my phone
it maybe 4gb less than advertised but better than the inbuilt phone memory
cheers everyone

Be sure you go through that entire 50GB and verify it is actually there. Often, these things will tell you it copied, and report it as such, but just overwrite all but the last xxGB.
