Worth water cooling a Z87-MPOWER-MAX-AC with a xspc water block ?? I got this mobo + a i7 4790k in the mail. Mobo was on offer so I couldn't resist getting one.

Newer mpower mb's come stock with a water cooling block, leads me to think that the mpower boards might need extra cooling.

I do want to overclock the i7 4790k to about 4.5-4.8ghz with a safe voltage 1.3v-ish.

Setup:
Single loop
Mayhems 360 quad rad (push/pull 6x fans)
Phobya UC1 extreme full brass
Alphacool NexXxoS GPX - ATI R9 280X M07
DDC 600l/h pump

Solution
at 1.3v you dont need water cooling. that motherboard is aimed to those crazy bunch of ppl that uses ++1.5v. at that voltage it's either extreme cooling or burned vrms.
