I want to build a portable desktop like the alienware alpha. My budget is 800.

I also want it to be light. The graphics card I want is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960. Also I would like a portable monitor and a flexible keyboard. It doesn't matter very much if the final price is 900.

Solution
I'm assuming 900 USD for the budget then so if you're happy with something bigger and heavier, this would be good:

This would be around twice the height, twice the width and twice the length of the Alienware but cheaper and much more powerful.

We might as well say now that you're not going to build a gaming PC that's as powerful, small and light as the Alienware. You can either do something bigger and much more powerful like the one I suggested or if you're interested in something just as small but less powerful I can make a suggestion.

You could even go for a more powerful GPU but you might struggle for cooling in such a small case.

Anything smaller is either going to involve a half height graphics card or the integrated graphics on an AMD A10, neither of which are likely to be nearly as powerful as the GPU in the Alienware.

Solution
Here's another idea for something smaller and should still have better performance than the Alienware.

The GPU might be too wide for the case so you MAY need to cut a small hole in the side to accommodate the fan (or buy a different case). You will also have to experiment a bit with cooling but the bonus is that this case is only a bit bigger than the alienware whereas that Silverstone is a lot bigger.
