I am pretty new at building computers and I was wondering if I had done a good job.

My budget is around $950, so if you would like to make some changes to help me out then keep that in mind.

Definitely no need for the arctic silver . The stuff with the Hyper 212 is as good .

I would not bother with the extra case fans either . Chances are they will not be needed for cooling .
Instead spend that money you save on a better gold rated psu . Maybe the Seasonic

In a few weeks MS are going to release Win 10 . Win 7 or 8 will update for free , but for now I would use win 8 . Its faster than 7 and the update might be a little easier [ not sure about this , just speculating ] .
Easy to add a start button to 8 using classic shell
