Ok so that has been a really problem and I haven't decided to deal with it until now.

For some reason I can not get ports to forward on my router. The only way they will get fowarded to ONE decide is if I add that device to the DMZ. I have disabled windows firewall on my computer and I have also disabled the default firewall on the router and nothing has changed.

Here is the strange part. I go to canyouseeme.org or any other port checking site and I check the port I opened and it tells me that it's closed BUT I also check a port that should be open like for instance port 80 and it tells me that it's closed as well but obviously it's not since I can see the page fine.

I am not sure what is wrong but if someone can please help me it would be really appreciated.

Also I updated my router to the latest firemare.
Router: Medialink 300n

Did you not read the OP at all?

I have port forwarded many times but it DOES NOT WORK without DMZ! Here is a picture to show you all the ports that I have open.

Yes that is true but every port checking site shows that port 80 is closed and if that were true I would not even be able to see this site.

Sorry if I seem angry it's just I have tried so many solutions to this problem and nothing has worked. The ONLY thing that I can think of is that my Comcast modem is somehow interfering and blocking my ports but I can't even enter the modem because when I enter in the local ip (25.0.0.1) it just times out unless I need to be directly connected to the modem and try that Ip.

No I don't have an AV and I mentioned in the original post that I had disabled the firewall on my pc and on the router.

Also I just found an article on my modem. http://www.snbforums.com/threads/sb6121-modem-is-creating-double-nat-for-me-cant-port-forward.16921/

Apparently, I didn't think this was possible but I believe I have a double NAT. I believe I just confirmed this checking out my ip before I disconnected my modem from my router (started with a 71.) and when I connected my modem directly into my pc the ip started with a 73.

It looks the DHCP server on the modem is still active while my router is plugged in and sometimes the DHCP requests are handled by the modem.

What should I do about this? Call comcast to see if they can remote login to the modem? I get timed out whenever I try to access it so I'm not sure what I should do.

Admirable
Calling them is the best option here. They may/may not help you with it but its worth a shot

Edit:I mentioned antivirus firewall because windows firewall could be on, the router's firewall, and the antivirus too (totals 3 firewalls)

Alright, thank you. I will try to call them and see if it works.
