Specifically I'd like to stream clash of clans, from my tablet on the pc. Then later on, games like halo 5 from the x box one. Also, ability to write papers. I need some parts sugegestions, specific to this type of build. I have no experience building a computer but I'm looking to learn. Thank you very much for reading, any advice is appreciated. Any monitor, keyboard and mouse suggestions would be cool, maybe could spend another 200 on those parts.

What kind of games do you want your PC to run? If you're streaming from your console to Twitch you'll need a decent CPU (i5 or higher for Intel) to stream, and of course good internet, but other than that, unless you're streaming high res games on your PC itself, you really don't need a beast computer in my opinion.

I wI'll probably try to game a pc game but I'm not sure what games. My main focus will be streaming clash of clans and then later x box games. It would be nice to try pc games but I'm not sure where I would even start. Having the capability would be nice, even if I can run on max setting, just ability to play pc games at a level where it's still fun would be cool.

It's of course up to you, your money is your money and I can't tell you how to spend it, but I'd say a mid range PC would work well, an i5 Intel CPU (or i7 if you want to futureproof yourself now to stream PC games, which are more intensive)with overclocking (A "K at the end of the model number) and a mid range graphics card, anywhere from $200-$350.

Okay, I appreciate the advice. I'm still tryin to put together a list of everything. I've been looking at lots of other people's lists, just not sure if they are building theif computers for the same reasons, probably not. I would like the i7 processor but I'll get i5 if I'm over 1000k with the rest of the parts.

The thing about streaming is it's a CPU intensive process, which is why most streamers use top of the line CPUs, but since you're not streaming Skyrim at 1080p 60fps full graphic settings, you can afford to skimp out at your will on the other parts, I'd just recommend an i5/i7 at the very least.

i5 4690k should be the minimum processor and overclock that to 4.5ghz with a 212.
For the graphics card these are the best price to performance gpu's
270x
960
970

For the case a mid atx case of your choice should do anywhere around $60 -$110 honestly dont spend more than that. My recommendation for a silent good airflow case is the define r5

Stick with a tier 2 psu dependig on which gpu you are getting.
Dual channel 8gb ram should be fine but since your games dont seem too intesive.
A z97 mother is the best for overclocking. Find a z97 motherboard that suites your needs.

Some basic tips on building a PC.
1.) take a 15 minute break every 45 minutes whether you feel you need it or not
2.) Never be in a rush
3.) Save all of your boxes
4.) Having a LED headband like this one can be super helpful and make the process so much easier

5.) For a first time build I would recommend going with a midtower or larger case
6.) Have a large stable, clean table where you can put the build together
7.) Lay a soft thick fluffy towel on the table if you are going to lay your case on it's side to work on it
a.) this will prevent the paint finish from getting scruffed if it inadvertantly gets bumped or moved
b.) it will absorb any rouge screws which may roll out behind it that you don't see. Therefore it sinks in to the
towel and will be less likely to scratch the case.
8.) Make a dedicated time to perform the build and make sure all interruptions are out of the way.

You don't need to know all of this to build a case. It is actually quite simple. You just assemble 6 to 8 parts and that is it. If you keep that mind set it will be a whole lot easier.

The forum will always be here to help.

Ive built 5 builds or so and these are really useless for the average builder. Its nice to do these but honestly just a bloody lamp or something or a torch does the trick and aleays work on a wooden or antistatic environment thats like the only thing you should care about. Have a few screwdrivers and you are set.

Thanks for the tips, I screen shot them! If anyone has any fake build ideas that incluse an i7 processor, with a large case that would be great. I'm looking at u der 1,000....please keep in mind my focus is to stream clash of clans mostly. X box streaming will require a decent graphics card I would think....I'm a noob here so plz feel free to enlighten me. I noticed there are some new graphics cards out. Also I was looking at http://newbcomputerbuild.com/newb-computer-build-home/july-2015-monthly-budget-gaming-pc-builds/#1000-pc-build....it has the i5. This is also without a monitor or keyboard which will force me to wait on those. Any suggestions ?
