Here's my build
Cpu: Intel Pentium g3258
Gpu: msi r7 265
Ram: crucial ballistix sport 8gb
Hard drive: Western digital caviar blue 1 tb
Psu: corsair430 w

- I need help in choosing a motherboard that would be best for this setup. I plan to play games, some recordings and video editing.

-These are some mobo's I've been thinking about cause I'd like to over clock and their under $100
Can you list best to worst
-MSI H81M-E34 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
-Gigabyte h97
-Gigabyte ga-z97-hd3
-Gigabyte lga 1150 Intel h97
-Gigabyte h97extreme multi graphic support
-ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
-ASRock Z97M Anniversary Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Thx for your help:)

I use the ASRock Z97M Anniversary MATX Board and I have to say, it's a great little board, packed with features.
I would say the order would go (best to worst)
1. Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 = ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX
2. ASRock Z97M Anniversary MATX
3.Gigabyte H97 Boards
4. ASUS H81M-E MATX = MSI H81M-E34 MATX

Like hamzahfelix said, you might want to go for a i3 CPU. I use an Intel Core i3-4160 Dual Core 3.6Ghz and it is great.

Hope this helps

If you haven't got the cpu yet, I suggest spending more at least for an i3 from intel. Locked dual core with hyperthreading, but will still beat an overclocked g3258. Video editing would also be faster with hyperthreading. You would also not to have to worry about the mobo not having a good enough build quality to overclock on.
