Hi all,

I have bought a GTX 750 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JJNQ9FY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00). I do gaming
at 900p at low medium settings. I have two options for the desktop which will house this GTX 750.

1. A core 2 quad machine- http://www.ebay.com/itm/381316161019?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

2. A core 2 duo machine- http://www.ebay.com/itm/371356770666?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Which one of these should I purchase? Will a core 2 duo bottleneck the GTX 750 a lot compared
to a core 2 quad.? Also, will I be able to put GTX 750 on any of these?

Thanks.

The Core2Duo E8400 was already bottlenecking my HD5770 in simple games like Diablo 3. The GTX750 is a much stronger GPU, so even an overclocked Core2Quad probably won't be fast enough.

I would not buy either system for gaming. Neither of them would be adequate to pair with a GTX750. To make things worse, the duo only has 2GB RAM while the quad has 4GB and they are both running around 2.5GHz. Both will be horrible in most modern games due to low throughput per core.

If you absolutely must pick either of them, I would go with the quad mainly for the extra RAM.
