Hello Asteroidas,

Even when you're on a budget try to build a PC that gives you great value, future upgrade path, stability and durability, without compromising your present needs.

Keeping the above said things in mind, I've put down a config. Take a look:

That should leave you with some money left over to spend on other components you might want or things like the OS

There is no i3 4400 processor as far I am aware. The reason for me choosing that AMD chip was because it is also acts as a graphics processing unit rolled into one. Giving some decent office computing performance for its price while allowing for you to watch movies at ease at 1080p without the worry of stuttering etc. But If anyone else joins the threat they might be able to give you an idea of what an intel based system might look like :)

[edit] and I don't think you'll really be able to find an intel processor that delivers the same performance for the price. Unless someone can show me otherwise

I wouldn't know enough about that sort of thing to give you a definitive answer. You may have to make a further thread regarding this so people in the know will see it and give you a response. :) Just say something along the lines of that you are looking to make an office pc like before but add the information like the build i sent you and ask if it would be worth building something on the intel platform instead with comparable specs :)

Notes:

- This Intel G3258 processor based config is a stellar performer that 100% satisfies or surpasses all your current needs Office, Internet Browsing, Streaming High Definition Online Videos (1080p/2K/4K), Watching DVD Movies etc.

- The Gigabyte H97M D3H is a quality H97 chipset based motherboard that offers pretty good on-audio, with 6 audio ports in the rear. It supports the Intel G3258 processor right out of the box without any need for BIOS update. The H81/87/B85/Z87 chipset based motherboards need a BIOS for them to even recognize the G3258 processor. Hence, I've included the H97 chipset based motherboard.

- This Gigabyte motherboard also provides you amazing future upgrade option like moving on to any of these popular Haswell/Haswell Refresh Processors - i3 4130/4150/4160, i5 4440/4460/4570/4670/4590/4690, i7 4770/4790.

- Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue hard disk for all your office/music/movies storage needs.

- 8GB single stick is plenty for your needs. Don't waste your money on getting 2x4GB kits. Even gamers on tight budget prefer single 8GB stick with highly negligible performance difference compared to 2x4GB kits..

- The EVGA 80+ Certified 500W PSU can deliver 40Amps on its +12V rail, which is more than enough for this rig. In fact, this PSU can power mid/high end graphics cards - GTX 960/970, R9 270/270X/380/R7 370 based PC builds. So this means again the build provides you with great future upgrade options.

- The Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 will give you pleasant PC experience, with amazing free upgrade to Windows 10, releasing on July 29, 2015. Microsoft had already officially confirmed that all Genuine Windows 7/8/8.1 users will get free Windows 10 upgrade.

- LG DVD Writer for watching all DVD movies on your PC, can write both single 4GB and dual layer 8.7GB DVDs, ideal for taking backups of all your office/downloaded contents.

Overall a pretty good no compromise build that offers amazing price to performance value, stability and great future upgrade options. I really hope you won't mind spending that extra €52.65 to get this balanced build rather than settling for cheap build that offers less satisfaction and zero upgrade option.

Update:

I checked your modified config - http://prntscr.com/7pdz96

I think its pretty good budget config. If you're satisfied with that build then go ahead. Have fun!

Cheers!
