Hi , i want to upgrade my ram and the situation is that my motherboard supports ddr3 1333 nothing above and i found cheap ram but its drr3 1600.
My PC specs are :
MB > G41MXE/GM41MXE-K
CPU> intel celeron E3400 2600MHz duel-core
RAM> 1333 2gb ( idont know its name ,maybe in the picture below you can find out more)
I would love to hear a respons cause for me its a big deal to byy anykind of a part for my pc.
And also if its possible how to do it what should i change in the BIOS (cause i read there are some sething and voltages....)

Also the RAM i want to add is A-DATA (AD3U1600W4G11-B) DDR3 1600 240 Pin Unbuffered DIMM

pictures i took of the BIOS :

p.s - sorry ,but english is not my native language

Solution
Yes, go with something that a manufacturers confirms to be compatible, newer lines of DRAM use the higher density 4Gb memory ICs which aren't compatible with the older mobos/chipsets that require low density (2Gb memory ICs)

Hello Martin132343,

Your motherboard spec says, it supports RAMs with these frequencies:

Dual channel DDR3 1333(oc)/1066/800 MHz, 2 DIMMs, Max 8GB

So even if you buy a 1600MHz memory, it will by default automatically run at 1333MHz. No need to change anything in BIOS.

Update:

I'm not sure about the ADATA RAM compatibility with your motherboard, as they do not have the G41MXE/GM41MXE-K motherboard in their compatibility list.

But Crucial has confirmed compatibile RAM list for your motherboard. Check here:
www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/FOXCONN/g41mxe

Corsair RAM compatibility list:
http://www2.corsair.com/configurator/new_configurator_product_results.aspx?sc=&id=1358490

So use these compatible RAM lists as base information, try and get any one these confirmed compatible RAMs or RAMs with similar config in your area.

Cheers!

ok i`ve got it running but with a 4gb DDR3 1333Hz Corsair CMV4GX3M1A1333C9 :) ,lets say they tried a lot of RAMs to get it working ...

Thanks again for the help from both of your!
