Recently i removed processor's heat sink and gpu's heat sink and i applied themal paste on it they processor was doing fine for someday ... but now both the processor and gpu and the motherboard is at a temperature around 45C to 50C ... im using open hardware monitor for checking the temp !!
please help !!

yeah, i wouldn't be worried about your CPU and GPU reporting those temperatures under light load. if you want to do some checks for me though to make sure everything working as it should, pleas open up the temperature monitoring software your using, and let the computer idle for 15 minutes, and also record the temperatures after stressing them. also, is this temperature higher than it was before you replayed the thermal solution? (if so, i recommend redoing it)

Right now the cpu is doing around 25 to 32c
but the gpu is around 42 to 48c
and yes i did the gpu today only ...
replacement of thermal paste in processor was done last week !!
the thermal paste in gpu was done today ... and yes its higher that it was before !!

it seems your CPU is behaving normally then (your cool temperatures are reaching plenty low, just wanted to check 45 wasn't your lowest), however its sounding like your GPU either had better TIM than you applied or it was better applied before. i would try again, in hopes of the later, and see if you do any better. Perhaps also considering a higher grade material if there is too.

nope, low temperatures are good and desired. There is however a lower limit that most processors will not function below, but your never going to see that with an air cooled heat sink.

I've had processors drop a solid 5c just from re pasting with the same stuff within hours of the original. how effective it is, is largely dependent on the quality of the application. however i have never re pasted a GPU before, so i am unable to help much there.

checking reviews, your GPU looks like it is running hot (most benches mark it around 10c cooler), however unless you can figure out whats the disparity going on here, either your using worse TIM than the factory did, or applying it un optimally. there's nothing else i can say other than 80c is still a OK temperature for that GPU. Nvidia claims the core is fine as high as 97c.

Thanks a lot ....
and this is the thermal paste i used !!
P.S can thermal paste actually used on GPU's or should we use thermal pads ??

thermal pads are generally recommended against as they do not have as good conductance as a well applied thermal paste/grease. however, in situations where there is a decent gap between the processor and heat sink, they are recommended.

for your compound, I've never read anything about that stuff before, so there's probably better you could get. blow is an article Toms did on different thermal pasts/greases/adhesives and their effectiveness on CPU's and GPU's.
