Hello,
I've checked a lot of other threads on this topic, and have not been able to find a solution. I'm at my wits end, and I hope you guys can help me out.
I would call myself an enthusiast and a hobbyist builder.
I recently built a desktop with parts I had left around, and it is perfect except for the fact that the GPU won't work once I update the drivers.
It is a custom built:
MOBO: ASUS P8Z77-LK
CPU: i5-2320
GPU: PNY GTX 750 Ti 2gb
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 8gb (2x4gb) PC3-1600
PSU: Corsair CX 500w Modular
SSD1 (OS): Kingston Digital 120GB
SSD2 (Apps): Samsung EVO 250GB
Media Drive: WD Blue 1TB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)
I've tried the standard install and I am using a DVI to HDMI conversion cable (could it be the cable? I would think not if it works at all...), and I get a black screen and the monitor does not receive a signal right when Windows starts to load, and when I assume the graphics driver is loading.
So I shut down, take the card out, and the use the on board VGA to go in and uninstall the drivers. Try again, nothing.
I've gone into the BIOS and flashed it to the most recent, and have changed the video output to PCIe. Still nothing.
Please help me figure this out!
I've tried a different PCIe rail too - same problem.
Any ideas, or hopefully solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
