I want to know if a EVGA GTX 750 SC 2GB will be compatible with this computer: HP Pavilion 500-311ns

Yeah i know that the GTX750 needs 300W power supply, but i only have a 180W one.
Do you think it REALLY needs a 300W power supply?
Will it drop performance?

Oh and btw, if not, will the CX430W power supply do the job?

Well, it's not so much about which one will do the job, than it is about from which you can find best quality one.
If nothing else can be found, CX430 will do.
But should look for XFX 450W, which is one of the cheapest higher quality PSUs. CX series isn't quite that high in quality. Though they do work for basic gaming pcs.

But my PC has a "hole" to exhaust the hot air from the stock psu.
I am afraid that it will no longer be used and the temperatures (which they are hot already) will go up like crazy.
Is that a problem that i should be worried of?

Huh? (almost) All cases fit the basic ATX psu. Some fit only psus like ITX or other special ones but they are usually much smaller cases.
The way the psu is mounted, is always the same. If old one fits, new one fits the same way.
They use a standard mounting. Only difference is that some cases have it at top and others at bottom.
Pre-built pc like HP has it at top most of the time.
