My Motherboard is a DG41TX, My powersupply is 450w. My os is Windows 8.1 pro
My CPU is a Pentium dual core E6700 3.20ghz 3.19ghz
My GPU is a Intel G45/43 Express Family chipset.
My problem is i want to upgrade my GPU because its intergrated and it wont run minecraft because windows 8.1 pro is too much for it. i dont want to downgrade to windows 7 so i decided to get a discrete/dedicated graphics card. The card i lay eyes on is a Gefore GTX 450, it is pretty old but my cpu, psu and moba wouldnt handle anything really up-to-date. i have pci express slot.
as i said before i have a psu of 450w. the cards specs say "minimum system power supply:400w"
and "maximum GRAPHICS CARD power supply:106w" would my 450w be sufficient power? or do i have to look for a different power supply? OR do you think i can run something even better than the card i said without any problems? please give me links and help
