The problem happened when i tried updating my intel CPU using the Intel Driver Update Utility then something went wrong and got me stuck on my desktop but with working cursor so i restarted it and now im here. I tried doing the safe boot (Shift+F8 during the alienware logo and the round ball circling around loading screen) and it didnt work. It gave me a blue screen for a few seconds then it goes to the gray screen with the cursor problem. Any help is greatly appreciated!
