Every part in that build is pretty good except the power supply.

i also changed the ram to ram with better timings and a better gtx 960 with a better cooler.

the only thing that you must change is the power supply.

you may also want to consider the r9 280x for a GPU. It consumes more power but is more powerful.

it will play videogames very well

it will play any videogame at high - ultra settings at 60fps 1080p. maybe inbetween medium and high for badly optimized titles.

For 60 FPS he will need to drop setting to medium with some games like witcher 3, but most games high or Ultra

his build is mine with cheaper RAM and case but a better monitor. So the computer itself isn't as good but the monitor is better. You wont really see a difference in most applications.

get whichever one you want

Comparing to his build

I picked cheaper RAM with slower latency which you wont see any difference in gaming
Cheaper case that will do the job just fine
And i picked better monitor with IPS panel

How can you say that your build is better that little higher latency ram he will not see any difference in gaming, case doesnt affect performance.

So performacne with your build or mine wont be differente

And Monitor is way better because of IPS panel which has way better colors than TN panel so picture will be more realistic

by mistake i typed build, and no your computer is not any better if you would build your PC and my PC the FPS would be the same in games

Case you picked is old design wtih PSU on the top so PSU gets only hot air which isnt good and for 35$ you can get way better case like http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-case-gx500

you would probably see up to an fps in performance difference while gaming but fast ram is just nice to have for multitasking and certain applications.

i would still go with the source 210 as it has way better ratings. when a product has less than 50% 5 star reviews, you should be wary
