Like the title says I'm in search for a new 1440p monitor for when I get a new GPU soon. Right now I game on a HP 2511x monitor, it's a nice monitor but I feel like it's time to take a step and try out 1440p.

I'm looking for:
-Approx 300-400$ (The cheaper the better)
-IPS
-Decent looking monitor ex: HP 2511x is a decent looking monitor, I love all black or very close to all black looks for monitors. (Also I don't mind glossy or matte, both are nice)
-No smaller than 25" display.
-60Hz
-5ms or less response time

Possible bonuses:
-Overclockable refresh rate, a monitor that could bumped up slightly to like 70 or 75 would be nice.
-Companies with shops in NA would be nice, but all in all I have no qualms trying out Korean companies as long as they have a warranty or some sort of safety plan.
-Slim bezel

The monitors I was looking at so far were the Yamakasi Catleap Q270 and the Crossover SAKWA 27 Inch. Didn't really like the silver bottom that some of the sakwa's had though and the yamasaki bezel looked a little too thick.

If anyone could help me out and just fire away some suggestions for new monitors that would be awesome! Thanks.

I don't really need a 1ms response time, just around 5 or under and I hate white monitors (yuck). But IPS is a must, I saw one at a store and fell in love with the way the colors turned out.

Are most north american monitors really this expensive? This is the one I'm really eyeballin at the moment: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Perfect-Pixel-CROSSOVER-27QHD-AHIPS-LED-27-LG-IPS-2560X1440-QHD-Monitor-Matte/141115538942?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20150604093004%26meid%3D45257631decb4dea815efefd591faccf%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D221719496703&rt=nc

Yes, for 1440p with an IPS display they can be expensive. All of the ones I have listed are among the cheapest I could find. I don't browse Ebay, though.

I would spend a little more on a more trusted brand. I have never heard of crossover, and a quick online about them came up with a lot of negative reviews on cheap quality, monitor having problems, or not lasting very long.

I did most of my browsing through Amazon at first and then I saw the Korean monitors so I looked into it a bit more and came up with these two. So far I think the Crossfire is probably the best option, I couldn't find much that could go toe to toe with it when I was looking through Amazon/Newegg.

The reviews look to be pretty okay on Newegg and Amazon though: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_10?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=crossover+monitor&sprefix=Crossover+%2Celectronics%2C147&rh=n%3A172282%2Ck%3Acrossover+monitor

Well, I found a few good reviews on the monitor you are looking at in particular, and even a youtube video. The guy doing the video seemed to be pretty impressed with it, and it didn't seem all that bad. Give it a shot.

Only downside I see is that it only has a single Dual link DVI input.
