core i3 3225 high temps ?

my core i3 3225 is idling around 45 degrees as can be seen in the image ..

whenever i play gta iv it sprints up to about 64 degrees and im worried it might be something wrong because i know core i3s are supposed to run way cooler... i have intake fan and exhaust fan so i dont see what i migh be doing wrong..
please help this is getting on my nerves for a while now.

Depends on how long you had your pc. The thermal paste on the cpu cooler may need replacing. Your idle temps is warmer than expected but your load temps are still fine.

For Ivybridge cpu:
3rd Generation 22 Nanometer: 3570K / 3770K (TDP 77W / Idle 4W)

Standard Ambient = 22C
Tcase (CPU temp) = 67C
CPU / Core offset + 5C
Tjunction (Core temp) = 72C
Tj Max (Throttle temp) = 105C

well if its not really far from the normal temps thats acceptable bcz am in the caribbean which is way hotter than the states ..
however i just felt like it was a bit too high but thanks for clearing that up for me .. dude i had countless nights i couldnt sleep bcz i taught this shit was getting faulty.. lol ...thanks again
