In terms of overall gaming performance,
the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia

affect on your yearly electricity bills in

Many games now start using nvidia gameworks and physx to add more detail in graphics.So having a nvidia card is worthy.
As the both cards are of same potential so having a gtx970 sli is best.It can beat a single gtx 980 in the same range of price.
