Lately I've been having a problem in which I'll be playing games such as World of Warcraft (Borderless) and Terraria (Fullscreen) and they've been crashing after a random number of mouse clicks. I notice when they're crashing a split frame I see a white box close. Not sure if this is due to the programs or another problem but, it's almost impossible to get into playing these games because I'll be playing a game and it'll just randomly crash after clicking on something.

I've heard of mice problems in games in Windows 8, but I'm not sure if it's that or another problem. Just as a safety precaution I've scanned my computer to ensure it's not a virus.

Solution
1) Try using a different mouse. (obvious i know)
2) uninstall reinstall mouse driver.
3) use a different USB port.

I've had optical mice in the past crash my windows or lock it up or BSOD me. So it happens. Although your saying the games are crashing and not your windows? that's a little odd.

Yeah, I'm going to try a new mice right now. But I'm not even using a game now and a window is flashing white almost every couple of mice clicks. I also noticed I'm using Razer Synapse and that might have a significant impact on this problem.
