Can I fit Corsair H100i in my mid-tower case? 240mm radiator.

I have the Enermax Ostrog mid-tower case which has 2 140 mm fan slots (is slots the right word?) on the top. So I'm guessing if I want a dual slot radiator on the top, I'm going to need a 280mm radiator on the top (outside the case). But I only have 2 AF120 fans so I'm worried it might not fit. Can I fit the 240mm radiator on my case or not? cause with 120mm fans there is a gap between the fans since they are also 140mm.

I mean here's my plan right now: Have the radiator outside and the fans inside the case. Mount one 120mm fan to the radiator and have the other fan's screw go through the mesh. So not as secure with only one of the fans screwed in properly and the other fan's screw through mesh holes.

Do you guys have any other way? When I started typing I had no idea how I would be able to fit it. But as I typed I started thinking of ways so that's why it might look like at first I had no idea then I was asking if my idea would work.

Tbh without proof reading this thread, I feel like I made absolutely no sense and everybody will think I'm like retarded. Just ask me questions and hopefully I make sense.

If the question wasn't clear, can I fit a 240mm rad (H100i) in a mid-tower case with 2 140mm fan spots. Or would I have to buy a 280mm rad.

Separate mounts? Not exactly sure what you mean but the fan mounts can fit either 120 or 140.

Not really sure if you can see the screw holes.

Update: At the bottom left you can see there are 2 screw holes, one is "inner". I use that hole for 120mm.

I haven't bought this cooler yet, but right now I've got the AF120 fans and I definitely can't fit the radiator at the top. That's why I'm thinking of maybe having either the fans or the rad inside, with the other part on top of the case (outside).
Saw LinusTechTips do this in a video so that's how I got this idea. If I hadn't watched that video, I would've had to buy a whole new case.

The fans and the rad should be inside the case if it fits.

They wont fit inside the case together.
Actually I saw a H110i water cooler, 280mm rad I think I'll be able to screw both the fans in if I use that radiator.

Is having either the fan/rad outside the case bad? Cause if a YouTuber does it (over 1M subs) then I think I should be fine.
And if it's okay, then what should be on the outside? the fans or the radiator because Linus had the radiator outside and the fans inside.

20:11 mark is the cooling, he installs the H100i in a mid-tower case. Rad outside.

You could do that, but your case does not have the open fan slots, you would have the vented metal between your fans and rad, and would lose alot of surface area because of that.

I would just go with a tower air cooler, there cheaper, quieter and cool within 5-10c.

I've read on another thread that a air cooler won't be enough for what I'm doing. I mean I could just go with a H80i but H110i is better.

Air coolers can get pretty close to the performance of closed loop coolers, but in your case, your clc would perform worse because of the way you would have to mount it.
