I'm sorry this is an option question more than a question! I know you guys understand computers way better than anyone I know so I thought it couldn't hurt to ask! Question: If it takes me a year to buy all the parts for my PC build is it a bad way to go or should I save the money and buy it all at 1x?

Extra info: I don't have a lot of extra money after I get paid but I like the best mainly because it is the best but also for future proof! This is why it will take me a year to buy all the parts or close to a year! If I had the money and the parts were available I'd build: Z170 gigabyte motherboard DDR4 G.Skill 16GB Intel skylake#? Corsair AX1500i Titan X GPU Intel SSD 750 1HDD 1Blu Ray drive! Phantom 820 case

Solution
I usually buy parts separately. Until I get all the parts. Because I know that it'll take forever if I try and save to get them..

Because like anyone else I pay bills

In my opinion just save the money and buy all together.

Just to note : Titan Z is an odd\old option, if you want the best, GTX 980ti/Titan X your choice, or 295x. There is no Samsung 750 ssd at the market. 1500w PSU is overkill.

I usually recommend you split buying the parts into sections. Start with the parts that are least essential, and less likely to be faulty and end with the parts that will become obsolete the quickest.

1. Case, Power supply and ROM (DVD, CD or Blu-ray)
These parts will last for years and through multiple builds. But if they can cost quite a bit, especially a good PSU.
2. Motherboard, CPU and RAM
When possible you want to buy these parts together. You will need them to test if any of the parts are faulty or incompatible for whatever reason.
3. GPU.
A new GPU comes out almost once every 6-8 months. For gaming rigs it's also the most important piece, buying it alone will allow you do spend the most you can on it.
4. SSD, HDD
Prices on these can fluctuate quite a bit. saving it for last will let you get the most bang for your buck.
