So I've read other places that when you install a new motherboard, you have to reinstall Windows. I didn't see that until later when the problems started though, so I had packed away my recovery disk. It seems like everyone has said the computer won't work, you'll just get a blue screen when you start up the computer. Well, it works pretty well until it just randomly decides to crash. It most often occurs when playing games, but it can happen any time. The screen goes black and my monitor goes into sleep mode for lack of input, my speakers make a buzzing sound, and my mouse loses power. I can try to dig up my recovery disk, but my wife has a lot of photography stuff that would need to be backed up, and I would rather avoid doing that if possible. Is there anything I could do to get around this? For reference I have an AMD FX-4350, motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P (rev. 2.0), gfx card Sapphire R9 280, psu is a Corsair TX750M. Thanks in advance!
