Which CPU-s (AMD and Intel) will be the best with the new upcoming DirectX12? Will the AMD be a little better thanks to the number of cores they have (FX 6300 better than an I5 maybe)? Or will the Intel CPU-s still be better thanks to the performance of each core?

Solution
Amd performance should increase some but it won't change things in terms of intel being more powerful chips. According to the tests done on various gpus, the fx 8350 still lags behind the quad core 4690k.

Some interesting things, these are all about draw calls. That in itself is only one aspect of gaming, so it's not the whole picture. While dx12 improvements over dx11 show the fx 8350 getting a little closer to the i5, the i5 with only 4c/4t still remains in the lead by a good 10% on draw call metrics alone. Factor in the rest of the cpu usage where intel still retains higher ipc performance over amd. So no and fx 6300 won't be faster than an i5...

Factor in the rest of the cpu usage where intel still retains higher ipc performance over amd. So no and fx 6300 won't be faster than an i5, nor will an fx 8350. The other interesting thing when looking purely at draw calls (and why it's good to keep in mind it's only one aspect), notice the gpu performance with the i5?

Dx11 shows the r7 260x pushing less than half the draw calls as the gtx 970 - given the price and hardware, no big surprise. In dx12 however looking purely at draw calls, the r7 260x pushes only 11% fewer draw calls than the gtx 970. While this does mean a performance boost specifically in draw calls, I highly doubt it means an r7 260x is suddenly nearly as powerful as the gtx 970. Meaning while it's great to look forward to increased performance, it's definitely not the whole picture and dx12 doesn't magically turn a $600 gaming pc into a $1000 gaming pc.

Taking it with a grain of salt that draw calls are only one aspect, it's even safer to say that no, amd cpus aren't going to suddenly become i5's or i7's. The cpu's which are currently struggling will have some of the pressure lifted off of them, the ones that aren't (i5/i7) will continue to get a large boost as well even though they're not struggling as it is.
