I bought my new pc and build it a week ago, now I bought GTA V and when I installed it the first time I ignored all the errors, but it looked like a memory management error. Runned memtest86 and no errors were found... Now I want to install GTA V again, it says :

CRC error: The file E:\Games\Grand Theft Auto V\x64c.rpf doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.

All my components are new, no used hard disks or something.
I tried my 128gb ssd, 160gb HDD and 1tb HDD, but on each disks the error shows up.

I've installed many others games, but only with GTA V, GTA IV and GTA SA I got this error...

Can I just keep ignoring the errors? Last time the game frooze in the loading screen.

Setup:
i5 - 4590
8gb Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4
MSI GTX 960 2gb
MSI Z97 G45 gaming
Windows 8.1 (not totally legit)

The fact you got a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error and a CRC error is a pretty good indication there's some memory corruption going on. Check your memory timings/voltages in BIOS and make sure everything is set to the correct settings.

This might also be a case of the motherboard simply not working well with 4 sticks of 8GB of RAM. Higher capacity sticks tend to be a lot more sensitive to voltage transients, and using four large capacity DIMMS might be causing the occasional glitch. Try running with only two sticks for a bit; I suspect your issue will immediately clear up (though you'll almost certainly have to reinstall GTA)

CRC error only show up when a corruption is found!
i had the same error in internet download manager when i search for that i found that some part of my download was corrupted during the download. i tried many ways but non of them worked out!
the most famous cause of CRC error is the data corruption.you need to replace the file if you can find it in the internet bus i suggest you to get another version of the game if it steel have waranty

Thanks for your reply, but..

I have fixed the memory management already by change the voltage, frequentie and timing of the dram in the bios. So that's not the issue.

I have 2 sticks of 4gb 1600mhz 1.5v ram, in the memtest no errors were found. I runned the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool on both and separate. Now I came to the point were I blame the game for the problem, just because other games I installed without a disks work just fine. I have defragmented, formatted and cleaned all my disks but still I can't install gta v without the error.

I've asked the company where I bought the game if I can return it. I'll try the steam version when I have my money back from the returned GTA V

Friends of me have the game via steam and they have no problems so far encountered.
