I recently started getting into overclocking so im still a noob at this kinda thing so i want someone elses opinion. I overclocked my cpu using bus and the amd multiplier (in bios) because i read it would give me great singlecore and multicore preformance. im wondering about the voltz. Basically im running 3.8 voltz into this chip is that enough for a 4.75ghz overclock and if not typically what is. I know each chip is made differently. Also my power is not an issue and the temps aren't because i have a h100i. Under full load on prime 95 my cpu has never gone above 55 degrees. I ran prime 95 for an hour and a half so I think its stable but just tell me if i should put more voltz into it.

Depending on your motherboard and LLC settings, 1.38v for 4.75GHz is possible.

If it passes a stress test stable and with good temps you should be fine. Give 1-4 hours to be sure. Generally, operating temperature stabilizes after 30 minutes so I rarely run longer than an hour personally. But some people like to test longer.

As i7Baby said, 55c under full load is good.

I'm currently running 4.9GHz on all 8 cores @ 1.4v on a custom loop.
