G-SYNC works with the GTX 650ti or newer cards, so it will work perfectly with your GTX 780.
You can use Speccy to find information about your card, but I don't think it will tell you the exact model other than it is a 780 made by EVGA. But the exact model is not that important, knowing it is a GTX 780 is enough.
