i5 5200u is a dual core processor with hyper-threading and turbo tech similiar to i3 on desktop albeit using a lot less power.
since gta 5 is somehow quite cpu intensive and benefits greatly from multi-thread processor, youll see alot of improvement when you run it on u-suffix i7. i personally suggest i7 for u-suffix processor, but an i5 is not necesarrily bad either at least it has 4 core albeit half of it is virtual.
wether it will run gta 5 or not is not solely depended on the processer.
try to look for what kind of GPU/VGA the laptop use and then we'll see wether it will be playable or not.
if there's no discrete gpu (you'll want at least a gt 840m for gta 5 to be playable) it will run gta 5 but it wont be playable.

The Core i5-5200u is a pretty good CPU. The difference between "u" model and "m" model CPU basically boils down to clockspeed. For example, the i5-4200u has a max turbo boost speed of 2.6GHz while the i5-4200m has a max turbo boost speed of 3.1GHz. The performance of the CPU is important for games, but what is more important is the graphics chip. Many people build / buy desktop PCs with AMD CPUs, they are much weaker than Intel CPUs, but they are still able to get good enough performance with the right graphics card.

So can a laptop with a Core i5-5200u play GTA 5? Yes, but that depends on what graphics chip is in the laptop.
