I recently built a desktop and its working great besides this one issue (that is ruining everything). When launching an application, more specifically the Diablo 3 or ARK: survival Evolved or even the windows Performance test in control panel, about 5-10 seconds after launching my monitor completely blacks out and gives the "no signal" message on the display (same result using my TV). The monitor was connected using a DVI cable and the TV with HDMI- both produced the same results. Audio cuts out shortly after the display ( usually within 5-10 seconds after). I have looked up multiple threads and most said it was likely the drivers, so I downloaded the most recent versions as well as the beta versions for windows and still the same thing. To get the display back on, the computer needs to be reset. The fan lights and all are still on, and it seems that the system is still on, but this cannot be confirmed as the display will not come back.
Below is a complete overview of my setup and what I'm working with:
CD: 24X Double Layer Dual Format DVD+-R/+-RW + CD-R/RW Drive

HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
HD: (Sandisk 128GB SSD)
MEMORY: 16GB (8GBx2) DDR4/2400MHz Quad Channel Memory (Corsair)
MONITOR: None
MOTHERBOARD: MSI X99S GAMING 7 ATX w/Killer GbLAN, 4x Gen3 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 1x M.2, 8x SATA 6Gb/s
NETWORK: Onboard Gigabit LAN Network
OS: Windows 7
POWERSUPPLY: 800 Watts - Standard 80 Plus Certified Power Supply - CrossFireX Ready
SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
VIDEO: AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Dual Card (CrossFireX))
If you have any suggestions or can help in any way it would be appreciated, as I am eager to test my build out.
EDIT:
I have also tried disconnecting the slave GPU and running just using the top card, with the same results.
The core temperatures upon resetting to BIOS are around 31 or 32 °C, so I know it isn't a temperature problem.
From what I have seen on threads most black screen problems are from power supply problems, driver problems, faulty GPU's, Bad connections, or a faulty motherboard. All of the hardware is brand new, and the faults are occurring without any overclocking.
I wouldn't think this would be a power supply issue, as it still occurs when only one GPU is connected.
I don't believe it to be a driver issue, as I have tried the latest driver (Catalyst Suite Omega (14.12)) and the Beta (15.6).
I am running windows 7 off of the HyperX Predator SSD.
Note: I tested Hearthstone to see if this would cause a crash and so far its working beautifully. Possibly because this is a lot less graphic intensive than Diablo or ARK.
