Hi, I've gone from upgrading my PC to practically building a new one. After putting everything together and turning it on the PC turns n for a second or two, and the CPU fan starts, then it shuts down. A few seconds later the PC will boot up again and do the same thing and repet this until I turn the PSU off. When I hold down the power button, rather than just pressing it to turn it on, the PC beeps three times and then shuts down again, but as far as I can tell these are not the BIOS beeps. As far as I can tell with hours of internet scouring all my components are compatible.

Motherboard: INTEL DH67GD
CPU: INTEL Core i5-3570K @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 2 x 8GB http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-10600cl9d-8gbnt (Full RAM Specs)
Graphics Card: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB GDDR5 with Boost
PSU: Corsair CX 750W
HDD: 2 x 2TB
And a standard CD/DVD drive

I have tried several things I have found on the internet already with no avail. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

UPDATE (21/07/15): Convinced that it was incompatible RAM I've purchased RAM which is specifically for my motherboard 4x Intel Motherboard DH67GD 8GB 240-pin DDR3 PC3-10600 1333MHz, but the same problem is happening.... I really am just looking for this to be fixed now :(

Because the RAM I have is an upgrade for my old motherboard and I'm not actually currently near my computer for a couple of weeks, all I can find about it is this:

Advent Desktop/Tower DT2 (H61)
8GB 240-pin DDR3 PC3-10600 1333MHz

I know it says for an Advent, but I gatheres RAM was pretty universal?

EDIT:

Manufacturer is G. Skill and upon getting back to my PC and getting another look at the RAM I've found the exact specifications for it which can be found here http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-10600cl9d-8gbnt

I've tried all of the RAM slots on the motherboard in different combinations of one and two sticks and still nothing. I'm getting the feeling it's because of the type of RAM I'm using from my old board.

One thing you could try is removing all power from the machine (Switch off at the wall) then press and hold your Power button for about 30 seconds. Release, and try again with power restored. Next you could try resetting CMOS by removing the CMOS battery for 30 secs, but that involves entering your Tower, and if it's sealed it may void your Warranty

Let me know, if its done

The problem is that it doesn't successfully boot in the first place...
