Weird gpu/psu problem?

Hello. I have an weird issue, today i was hearing my psu weird sound after a few minutes playing gta v, and after I remove my side of the case, my gpu restarts and there was no screen on my monitor, after i restart my pc, screen was BLACK and WHITE, no color, and in very large font, small resolution, after I reinstall my gpu drivers, everything was OK, what do you think? What s the problem is? My gpu is GTX 970 g1 gaming and psu Fortron raider 650w, silver 80+

the PSU unit might be shot or underpowered for that card, its not uncommon to have to upgrade to a more powerful/ newer unit. they do lose their kick after some time

you could try to PSU is still in warranty submit an RMA to the company, but I don't think that's the issue, so if this doesn't solve it you may need a new, more powerful PSU like 750watt

what are your computer specs, ram, CPU, MOBO?
