While playing a game i alt+tab'ed then after i resized it, black screen appeared and laptop stopped responding. So i waited till the battery ran out. This happened previously few times. But this time right before shutting down, it made a pop sound. I had headphones plugged it so it wasn't the speakers. It came from near the charging slot (but i stopped charging right after black screen). My laptop is powering up normally. So my question is that should i consider it harmful and show it to a technician or not?

I feel like a broken record. Tell the tech. Better safe than sorry, if this is something major and you overlook it, you could be out a laptop and the tech will be telling you you should have told him about this noise.
Well i like to be on the safe side all the time but in my city the so called 'technician' are all quack. So i was trying to avoid it.
Guess i'll have to go another city for it.
