I'm planning to order the parts the following weekend and i've done my research on this build and checked using pcpartpicker.com and everything seems good. I would like to have some confirmation that I haven't made a huge mistake somewhere on it though. It will be mainly used by my father who wants a fast bootup and overall a fast computer. He is not a gamer and therefore I haven't included a GPU. Thanks - Finn

The Intel HD 4xxx will do just fine, especially at 1080p.

As far as I can see, all is good.

should prove to be snappy for a non gamer. does he do streaming or internet video watching? I know AMD isn't very popular but if you're running a non dedicated GPU rig you could look into getting an APU rig for added video performance.

AMD A8-7600 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor and 1866 ram.....
