So Ive tried a few games so far. None to graphic intensive or so I think. And Im getting these weird graphical glitches and screen tears which are black. Id take a pic to show you but it doesnt show my problem in any game when I take a pic then look at it. I tried the Omega Catalyst 14.12 software with the same thing then I uninstalled it and tried the beta drivers which are 15.6 and it still does it.. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem??

also use gpu-z and run it logging when you test it and check the readings to see if something seems out of range or place ??
I've tried the newer drivers and end up back on 13.12 - for my card it seems the most stable issue free ???

I don't know ?? I just fire things up and run them ? but I do know all the drivers above 13.12 suck on my card , all of them..
a guess all you can do is load them up and see how they play .. for me if a game requires anything like steam/ internet required to load or play I don't own it ... only games that are fully on a retail disk with out any 3ed party involvement

Actually I was playing Kholat for maybe an hour last night and it crashed. So I figured I better update to 14.12
Kholat works fine. I played Don't Starve half the night which I wasn't intending to but some games do that to you.
Then I tried a different game and the glitches are back. Like they blink on and off quickly making the game almost unplayable
So now idk what todo lol

could be just a bad card seems a lot of them cards like yours get these type of threads ?? [''XFX'' R9 280x seems common]
did you log the sensor readings to see if it drops voltage or over heats or anything ?? xfx is not known for there great coolers
