Hi guys,
I've experienced the same problem. I found a solution. But it was hard to find, and by searching for a registry key, I googled some and came up with an italian forum. Translated it to english and found the registry key to be removed.
Italian Forumlink
but, long story short:
You should search for: "
SATDisableRebootTargetInfo"
delete the (sub)key. And you're good to go and reinstall/do whatever you want with Samsung Magician.
You can find the subkey on these locations
64bit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\
32bit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\
The guy in the forum also states an easy fix for the Rapid Mode to be enabled in Windows 10. (far easier than any fix found so far). It appears that only the button is disabled, but fully functional. They link to a program called "
Windows Enabler". It should make the button usable and let you turn on Rapid Mode in Samsung Magician in Windows 10. Don't know if it fully works. Button seems to work for now (haven't restarted yet as I'm typing this).
Edit: Seems to work perfectly. Make sure you open Windows Enabler as Administrator and click on the icon to turn it on (taskbar). Then click somewhere on Samsung Magician to make the button active. Might take some clicks.
