Quick question about i5 4690k temp

Not overclocked

Speedfan at 65% fan speed

are the idle temp normal? my ambient temp is about 24degrees Celsius. During GTA5 (very high settings) for hours max cpu doesn't go above 50degrees Celsius. I'm just worries about the idle temp... is it normal?

those temps are great. nothing to worry about. the max for the chip is 72.72c. plenty of room to overclock a bit if you want.

Your tempd are perfectly fine.

It becomes slightly risky above the 80degree mark ^^

Much better temps than what i get with my 4690k, idle usual about 32c and heavy load 60+c. My pc is in a hot room though which doesnt help

Thanks for the peace of mind! although I never go above 45c even when im playing gta or sleeping dogs i was still concerned about the idle temp because as you said your idle is about 32, i would love to have 32c idle but i think you have a better cooler than me
