Hey guys, I just built my very first gaming PC ever, everything went fine. So I put in my bootable USB with Windows 8.1 (I used a Macbook with the help of the application "Unetbootin" to create this bootable USB drive) and prioritized it in the BIOS like I was told to by several tutorials. But whenever I try to start up with this USB drive, I get a black screen with these exact words, "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"

I don't know what's going wrong? Are there any other settings I have to fix in the BIOS?

Unetbootin is primarily used to make bootable Ubuntu flash drives, so it probably formatted your FD with the Linux file system. If you have another Windows PC, try using Rufus or the official Microsoft Windows to USB tool. Also, make sure that your BIOS boot order is set to boot from USB before the HDD. (If you don't have USB as an option, USB booting might be disabled in the BIOS.) You can also try pulling up a boot menu to choose the correct boot device. Usually the common trigger keys are F12, F8, or DEL, but it might be different for your system. Your motherboard manual will tell you which key to press.
