Hello. I have a problem ,when me and my brother from the same house try to join the same server
1. in most games (Like CoD and BF and some gaming platforms like garena ) For one of us it says that server not found while it was exactly there on server browser and the other is playing.
2. in some games we can play for a while (10 mins) before both of us crash (SA:MP)
In games that are like the second category , after the first crash game continues to crash even if 1 client connects (Unless we restart the modem).
We had some runs and attempts and we failed badly.
attempts : 1. disabling UPnP and SSDP discovery
2. Portforwarding
3.Flushing dns
4. 1 client changing to another dns
5. joining a homegroup
6. Upgrading my speed
Note that our ip is dynamic and our modem model is DLink DSL - 2730U

id also suggest disabling your anti virus and trying it out then.
another thing that may or may not be an issue is, the game you are playing if you are using the same serial key it could clash. i remember some cods had this issue back in the day.
id say first disable antivirus on both PC's, change both workgroups to home, enable file sharing and no password protection on the lan. try this first.
Also can u post screenshots of any crash errors you are recieving? insure both games are the same version and the patches are upto date. if its an illegal game or pirated game the actual cracks could be causing issues aswel.

I dont have any anti virus and he disabled his. they arent workgroup they are home , we dont have same serial key. LAN games work perfectly fine. both games are the same version , sadly they are pirated (But if we try when one of us is at another home its perfectly fine so im sure thats no prob)
file sharing is enabled. also the errors arent really anything special (Just 'connection timed out's)
Also i forgot something, Team speak 3 works perfectly fine Which is really weird.
EDIT: also i tried VPN, its not the server blocking us but seems like an error with the modem?

ok is it an official server you are connecting to?
If so, its most likely picking up your games as pirated copies.
another issue is the server version/ your version of the game.
check that the server version of the game hosted is the same version that your game is currently on.
example, Server Game version 1.2.3a your version 1.2.2b. this will cause issues too if theres a version difference even in the slightest.
I however think if its an official server, and the server is running a legit copy of the game, its probably giving issues because you Captain Hooked your games.
If this is an issue, perhaps try a custom server or even a non official server
