Hi guys, I received an R3 from a friend of mine who has just recently purchased another gaming laptop. The only problem is it has no GPU, the original was the 580M. It has a 3D 120Hz screen so I cant boot it up otherwise I get 8 beep codes due to the built in Intel not being able to display at that output.
I am curious about placing in an AMD 6990 in the laptop but I am wondering since I am unable to download any ATI drivers before installing it, if it will natively display windows at 120Hz or am i forced to purchase an Nvidia card?
