Motherboard's HDMI display only through Integrated graphics

Hello, I just bought a whole new PC and I love it so far, except for this weird problem:

My second display is connected to the motherboard's HDMI cable and whenever I try to game on that display it refuses to use my graphic card, relying only on the CPU's integrated graphics, which don't cut it.
I tried to disable the integrated graphics, both from the Device Manager and the BIOS and as result it doesn't find the second display.
In the Desktop Nvidia Control Panel is unavailable for the second display.
Maybe it would use the GPU if I had both displays on, but that wouldn't really be a definite solution.
I read that I should put the GPU as a priority, but that option doesn't appear for me onNvidia Control Pannel.

could try going in BIOS and selecting the GPU have priority from there.
BIOS Setup Utility > Advanced tab > Chipset > Primary Graphics Adapter. Choose the option where PCIE has top priority.

If this doesn't work can you can try switching the card to another PCIE slot?

Also have heard that the power supply could not handle running GPU and so it switches to the integrated graphics but in your case that does not seem very likely.

You need to have both monitors plugged into the video card. The motherboard's video outputs are for the CPU's integrated graphics only.

If you're using the video card's HDMI port for the first monitor you'll need to use DisplayPort or DVI to connect to the second (or a DP->HDMI or DVI->HDMI adapter).
