How to use only mic of combo jack to my dell laptop

I am having dell laptop with single audio/mic input. Now I want to play a game where I need to have sound coming out from laptop speakers while I want to give my guitar as mic input to the game.

I don't want to buy any adapter or toner. Currently I can connect my guitar and the game recognizes the input but in return my speakers don't give the output. So I want to have mic input to my laptop while my guitar is connected to combo jack via aux cable and same time output from laptop speakers.

I hope you guys got my problem. waiting for solution

So you want the problem fixed but don't want want to buy the thing that could fix it. Sounds like you will be buying a new laptop.

Im gunna have to ask; why is your guitar connected to your laptop while your playing a game? Is it a game that requires you to play the guitar as a sort of controller?

If you have a single mic/audio input you cannot separate the two without an adapter.

Might or might not work: right click on the speaker icon in the task bar, goto playback devices. Do you have the speakers still set as the default device or is it a headphone instead? If it is a non existing headphone instead, set it back to the speakers.

He has to have the adapter you can only use one device at a time you cant use the mic and the speaker at the same time this is not how it works this is not how any of it works.
